This TS 505 portable Cube Radio was designed by the two famous furniture and industrial designers Richard Sapper and Marco Zanuso for Brionvega in Italy in the early 1970s. This device is one of the duo’s groundbreaking designs. It is the successor model of the TS 502 which was launched by Brionvega in 1964. The closure of the two cubes of the TS 505 is now made by magnets. with this version, Sapper and Zanuso improved their original design and further improved the technical components of the radio. It also features a retractable handle.
