Lightweight, rectangular, and reversible, tenugui are a beloved part of daily life in Japan. Their uses are countless and ever-expanding:

Care instructions :
Hand wash or machine wash in a net on a delicate cycle. Wash separately. Washing in cold water is recommended. Dry in the shade, do not tumble dry.
Chusen dyeing is specialized art form and requires a highly skilled artisan to perfect. Due to the hand-dyed nature of these fabrics there may be some irregularities, however these are not errors or misprints, rather a natural characteristic of Chusen dyed textiles.
