Sasso is the Italian word for “stone”, primarily marble, with its wide range of colours and veining it’s used by those wealthy enough to display the fact they can afford it.

Owning a Savinelli Sasso today lets other pipe smokers know you can afford to buy a good looking briar pipe made by artisan Italian craftsmen.

Savinelli class this as a billiard shape, but to a lot of pipe smokers it would appear similar to an Oom Paul. The natural finish allows the pipe to both breathe and shine and lets the characteristics of the grain show through. It also gives the pipe smoker a more enjoyable experience.

The bowl is a good size, comfortable in the hand and well balanced. The marble hued acrylic stem is a piece of eye candy, the powder blue acrylic ring with a cream acrylic ring either side just adds to the overall look.

The pipe has a 6mm balsa filter which is fitted, and is also sold with a 6mm active charcoal filter and a plastic converter.

Each pipe is boxed and comes with a pipe bag, guarantee and care instructions.
