Olle Alberius (1926-1993) is one of the known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. Alberius trained in ceramics at the Stockholm College of Art, Crafts and Design from 1952 to 1956.

Over the course of his career, he worked in ceramic design at Syco and Rrstrand (19631971), and later in 1971, he began designing for the renowned Swedish glassware company, Orrefors, where he produced some of his most iconic creations.

His artistic approach is often characterized by organic forms, clean lines, and attention to detail. His creations are both aesthetically appealing and functional, reflecting his passion for the marriage of beauty and utility.

Alberius is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
