The PP701 chair, designed by Danish designer Hans J. Wegner in 1965 for PP Mbler, is one of his rarest pieces. Together with the PP518 chair, they were designed for his own home in Jaegersborg. The design combines wood, steel and leather. The backrest is made of solid ash wood, assembled from four pieces of wood and connected by an interesting wooden element in the shape of a cross. The seat is upholstered in beige leather.
