Design by the Danish designer Erik Buch in a classic mid-century style. Buck’s designs are characterized by an organic and curved design language. Chair No.49 (designed in 1949) was one of Buck’s first successes. The model is characterized by the floating seat.
During his creative period, Buch was virtually unknown, which is why little information about the designer is available. Not even the year of his death is definitely known (1973 or 1982). His work was only rediscovered through the revival of mid-century Scandinavian design.
