Old trompe l’oeil, small centerpiece, in hand-painted artisanal glazed ceramic, majolica, slip, Italian manufacture. Featuring a small white basket filled with 9 garlic cloves in a pyramid in shades of white, dark pink, yellow/cream, decorated with green leaves. Approximately 18cm in height, approximately 15cm in diameter at the widest. Good condition, many small dents and losses, all relatively discreet, one a little more visible on one of the leaves, some a little more marked on the basket… Ceramic globe inside the basket “opened” by a large crack, but it is a crack from cooking, it is not visible. Very pretty old bucolic piece which smells of the Italian countryside. About 2kg.
