This swivel chair no. 5501 features a brown wooden frame with a rattan seat and backrest. The design dates from 1866. The chair was shown at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889. This chair dates from the 60s/70s. The seat is adjustable in height, from approx. 45 – 55 cm. In good condition, both wood and rattan. We had the rattan seat replaced by a new handwoven one. Marked with paper label Thonet.
