A Mid Century coffee table produced by the Drevopodnik Holesov Factory in the 1962. Despite being produced in former Czechoslovakia, this table was clearly influenced by the soft organic shapes typical of Scandinavian furniture design.
The table has been designed with a careful attention to detail and the slender design celebrates the material and form. The softly curved oval tabletop is made of honey colour brown patterned oak. The slightly angled and tampered legs pass through the lower storage shelf that sits beneath the tabletop, making it appear as though the oval shelf is suspended, being effortlessly held by the table four legs.
This coffee table is in great vintage condition with only minimal wear acquired over the years. The table top, legs and the lower shelf have been all cleaned and re-polished to its near original condition.
