A smashing retro vintage pottery stoneware lamp made by Iden Pottery in Rye. In excellent condition. Handcrafted and handpainted. Wonderful creamy base with browns and beiges in a very retro pattern and glaze at the bottom. Stamped underside. Tested and working. No chips, cracks or crazing. Excellent little lamp.
Perfect as a bedside table lamp or for a small lamp in a larger room. Just delightful and so very 1970s. Iden Pottery was a spin off of Rye Pottery by Townsend who established his own business in the late 1950s and ran it creating these wonderful stoneware pieces until early 2000s when he retired.
