The iconic Rex folding lounge chair was designed in 1956 by Niko Kralj. The lounge chair version has different proportions and a lower more comfortable sitting position than the regular Rex chair.
It is a famous and early example for the use of plywood technology in the manufacture of seating furniture in Europe. Even the frame is made from laminated wood.
This rare set of two comfortable Rex lounge chairs is from the early production in former Yugoslavia, produced by the original manufacturer Stol Kamnik, also during the 1960s and 1970s.
