Spectacular mid-century large serving tray in birch burl and chromed metal. This incredibly charming and unique piece was designed by Tommaso Barbi in Italy during the 1970s, the tray is signed on the bottom. This beautiful and very large serving tray is made in a stunning birch burl with a gorgeous tone. It has an octagonal shape with a chromed metal frame that enhance the light reflection. The contrast between the chrome and the burl and the fantastic quality of the wood make this tray incredibly elegant. The chrome has some minor spots of oxidation that cannot really be noticed in a daily use. An outstanding object, perfect to enhance a living room or a mid-century modern bar.
