This Mizu Sashi features a classic shape with a lid and a handle that has been handwoven from clay. The pottery is covered in a thick, swirling brown glaze.

This traditional water jar was crafted and stamped by Noma Gazan (), a ceramicist working within the Agano/Takatori tradition, also known as Natsuyoshi Yaki ().
