A beautiful lounge chair, model Caracas, designed by Pierre Guariche, manufactured by Meurop in Belgiuam around 1960. This eye-catching piece has a tubular metal frame with a large wooden support bar, being an eye-catching feature of the design. The seat and armrests are upholstered in high quality cream coloured skai (faux leather). It has that highly recognizable Guariche style, where modern shapes and an inviting style and comfort are combined! A fantastic find of mid-century design with a most unique appeal! It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
